I am excited to serve as an academic, and career advisor to help students through our UF Online Business Program. As your advisor, I am here to serve as a resource to help support you with navigating your degree and assisting with your career development. I am here to serve as a liaison to resources at the university as well! Whether you are a part-time or full-time student, a recent high school graduate or perhaps a working professional who has an established career, I am here to be a resource for all students!
I am originally from New York City, but grew up in Central Florida. I taught middle school and high school as a Teach for America corps member prior to working at the University of Florida. I then transitioned into admissions and worked as an Admissions Officer within the Outreach and Recruitment team for over four years prior to transitioning into advising. Through working in both secondary and higher education, I have discovered that I have a passion for teaching and advising.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from the University of Florida. I then completed a Master of Science in Educational Studies at Johns Hopkins University with a specialization in Secondary Education. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology at the University of Florida.
I transitioned into academic advising due to my passion, and interests with wanting to assist students within achieving their academic and professional goals. I enjoy working with students and learning about their personal and professional interests. As someone who has been a student and working professional, I understand the various challenges students may face. I am incredibly excited to work with the online population due to the diverse pool of students who participate in our program.
Please feel free to reach out to me by email or call me at 352-273-0165 with any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have. I look forward to working with you. Go Gators!
